Where does your donation go?

Your financial contributions are essential for:

Operational costs: Running our dog shelter in Lombok involves various expenses such as carers salaries, electricity, staff, and building materials.

Medical care: Many rescued dogs require medical treatment. We also vaccinate and sterilize all our dogs.

Food and supplies: We cook for our dogs every day. It's more cost effective than buying dog food and also more nutritious.

Rescue and rehabilitation: Financial contributions enable us to rescue more animals in need, provide them with necessary rehabilitation, and work towards finding them loving, permanent homes.

Sterilization program: We sterilise dozens of dogs per month and our goal is to increase sterilizations even further.

Building a new shelter: Project Dog Land enables us to centralise costs and provide care to rescued dogs.

Do we get a wage?

The founder and managers do not receive a wage or other income from the Shelter. Our vets and carers, and other supporting staff receive salaries and benefits as by Indonesian law.

Here are some of our most pressing needs.

Donation Wishlist

Urgent Medical Needs

Our supply of anesthesia is running low, and many rehabilitation drugs need restocking. These are not optional items — they are the difference between suffering and healing for our dogs.

Equipment Needs

Many of our cages have been repaired so many times that they’re now beyond patching. To keep our dogs safe and comfortable, we urgently need replacements.
