Visit the Lomdogs

Volunteering with these dogs is one of the most rewarding experiences and we'd love to share it with you. We always need help walking dogs (we hike them around the property daily), feeding time for dogs and puppies, socializing, cleaning, events, fundraising, local marketing (put flyers up), photography of the dogs for their adoption posts, medical help. The dogs love visitors!

Join our team

Come and support our team in any way you can. We need daily support at the shelter but also marketing, event and backend/admin/IT help. Be part of our mission!

Volunteer Form

We have one shift every day: 15:30 to 18:00. This allows you to go on the hike with the dogs, assist with feeding time, as well as spend time with them at the shelter.

We require a 7 day minimum commitment for volunteers. Your first day is training day! We'll work with you to show you how we feed, walk and care for the pups, along with basic safety for you and them.

What to bring:
for yourself: a water bottle (we do not supply food or drinks), clothes you don't mind getting dirty, your phone to take lots of pictures, and a scooter to get here.
We are always very excited to received donations such as: dog food (can be purchased at Fresh Mart), rice, vegetables (carrots, potatoes, peas, beets, broccoli, green beans, celery, bell peppers, yams or sweet potatoes, spinach) and meat from the market, vital medicines like: simparica (flea and tick medicine) and bioplacenton (wound cream), puppy formula.

Please complete the form. You will then see a link to our WhatsApp Volunteer Group Chat on the next screen! In the chat, we share the directions to our shelter and coordinate your visit.

A day at the shelter

Are you curious what a day of volunteering looks like? In this video we give you a tour around the shelter in Mawun, Lombok, Indonesia.

Helping From Abroad

Not able to help physically in Lombok?

We need support with marketing, blogs (telling our dog's stories, updates on the shelter build, education about animal rights, proper dog care, and more), fundraising (events, online, etc,), making videos (our dream is to submit a story to The DoDo), and any other creative ways you may have to share our story and amplify the message.
