Visit the Lomdogs
Volunteering with our dogs is deeply rewarding, and we’d love to share it with you. We always need help with daily walks (we hike them around twice a day), feeding dogs and puppies, socializing, cleaning, events, fundraising, local marketing (putting up flyers), photographing dogs for adoption posts, and medical care. The dogs love visitors!

Join our team
Come and support our team in any way you can. We need daily support at the shelter but also for online tasks like fundraising, marketing, event and backend/admin/IT help. Be part of our mission!

Volunteers Near and Far
Lombok Dogs runs on compassion, dedication… and a very small team. Right now, that team is stretched thin — and we need your help.
You don’t have to be in Lombok to make a difference. From wherever you are in the world, you can:
Promote our work online — share our posts, talk about our dogs, help us reach new supporters.
Help with social media — creating posts, engaging with followers, or scheduling updates.
Edit videos and photos — turning raw footage into stories that inspire donations and adoptions.
If you’ve ever wanted to see your time and talent have a direct, visible impact — this is it.
We are looking for Indonesians and foreigners alike. For candidates from abroad with proven skills and record, we could offer a volunteer visa to help you relocate to Indonesia.
Write us here for further information.
Volunteer your time!
At the Shelter
Daily shift: 15:30–18:00. Volunteers hike dogs, help with feeding, and spend time at the shelter.
Commitment: Minimum 7 days so dogs can get used to you. First day is training on feeding, walking, care, and safety.
Bring: Water bottle, old clothes, scooter, and your phone for photos (we don’t provide food/drinks).
Donations welcome: Dog treats (Pepito), rice/vegetables/meat (Banyu Urip), simparica, bioplacenton, and puppy formula (Tokopedia or pet shops in Mataram).
Please complete the form. You will then see a link to our WhatsApp Volunteer Group Chat on the next screen! In the chat, we share the directions to our shelter and coordinate your visit.
Assist with sterilization
Volunteers commit to at least 4 days, working alongside our dog catcher and team. You’ll help carry dogs safely to the sterilisation table and assist with other light tasks that support the vets. A hands-on way to make a real difference in reducing the number of street dogs.
Assist with street feeding
Street feeding is one of the most impactful ways to support our dogs. Once your feeding shift is confirmed, you’ll collect food at 9:00 am from Elamu Restaurant in Kuta. We’ll provide the dry food, and you’ll help distribute it to the dogs who depend on us every day.
Please bring your own reusable bags so we can reduce waste while carrying the food. Street feeding is not just about filling stomachs—it reduces hunger, prevents fights among dogs, and helps us build trust with them in their own environment.
A day at the shelter
Are you curious what a day of volunteering looks like? In this video we give you a tour around the shelter.

Helping From Abroad
Not able to help physically in Lombok?
We need support with marketing, blogs (telling our dog's stories, updates on the shelter build, education about animal rights, proper dog care, and more), fundraising (events, online, etc,), making videos (our dream is to submit a story to The DoDo), and any other creative ways you may have to share our story and amplify the message.
